    different
    --a poem

if we judge one another, then we’re no different.
if we fail to understand one another, then we’re no different.
if we curse, insult, belittle, or attack one another, then we’re no different.
yet, if we truly love one another, then we are different.
    are you different?

if i follow without carefully scrutinizing my heart, my thoughts, and my way
    i’m no different.
if i just do without checking, examining, and managing, with him, before, during and after
    i’m no different.
if i think, say, or do without emptying myself and requesting permission before,
    i’m no different.
    am i different?

    who is it that’s different?
in what ways is one different?
is one not different is some ways?
    yet, different in another?
    are we different?

    or, is one just crazy?
in a not so different way.

We all want to be unique that's what I find far to obligatory.

    feeling...

    thanks for chimin in, kevin...
    but would you agree???
there's really no need for obligatory uniqueness.
fact is, we R all different.
none of our experiences is exactly alike.
and it's really about appreciating those differences.
for example, you're an atheist, is that correct?
what about your experience makes you that way?
i would really like to know.
as for me, if carl jung has anything to say about it,
one who claims to have met 'god' or 'jesus' (e.g. apostle paul)
must be different in that way, though most ppl would call him schizophrenic or
suffering from temporal lobe epilepsy or somethin, no?
so then, what about the 'gnostic's' experience dictates that uniqueness or difference?
and can we refrain from condemning one another in spite of our obvious differences?
this is the bottom line, i think.
